I’m so thankful I got the chance to participate in SF’s monthly photography meet up called Flask Mob. Roaming the streets of the city at late hours with 300 random people who all share the same passion as you, all gathered to do what they love most. Why wouldn’t you want to be part of such a thing?

I Dream of Fog

If you catch it at the right time as the sun begins to appear, it has the most beautiful misty quality. It cools the city down on hot summer days, and for photographers, it makes for great pictures!
On the other hand, too many San Francisco foggy days cause summers to be miserably cold (winter coat in july?), and gray days almost year round in some parts of the city can be very depressing.
Whether you adore or despise the San Francisco fog, most natives have a special place in their heart for it. It’s lovingly called, “Karl the Fog,” who apparently has his own Twitter feed, Facebook page, Instagram account and LinkedIn profile. I’m not sure who first started this or runs these accounts, but they are pretty funny!
